Our story begins in the most unexpected way: on a kickball field during the early days of COVID-19. We were both part of the same league, but strangely enough, we never actually met in person. As the world shut down and games were canceled, the league didn’t give up on connecting its players. Instead, they organized virtual meetups with trivia and fun games, and that’s where we first crossed paths.


Once the world started to open up a little more, we found ourselves meeting up with our fellow kickball friends for “social-distanced sports.” Throwing the kickball & frisbee - with plenty of space to stay safe but still have fun. It didn’t take long for us to discover that we shared a love of hiking & the outdoors. We began hiking together almost every weekend.


Our adventures continued with endless weekends spent tubing down the Chattahoochee River, where we’d laugh, talk & share our favorite music. We became best friends, and before we knew it, we realized it was something more.


The next chapter of our story was a magical moment in Yellowstone National Park, where, in the midst of the snow at Artist Point, when Greg dropped down on one knee & asked Danielle to marry him. It was just the two of us in one of the most beautiful places on Earth, and in that moment, we knew we had found our forever.


Today, we live together with our two lovable & goofy cats, Grace & Crash, and our hearts are full of gratitude for every twist and turn that led us to each other.
